Part Time Strength & Conditioning Coach
About Us
GameDay Athletics is an indoor baseball and softball training facility in Bellmawr, NJ. We provide year-round instruction and development for athletes of all ages, from young players building fundamentals to high schoolers competing at a high level. We're looking for a strength and conditioning coach to help our athletes — especially our high school baseball and softball players — build durable, athletic, injury-resistant bodies for the demands of their sport.
The Role
The Strength & Conditioning Coach designs and leads training for athletes at GameDay Athletics, with a strong focus on our high school–age baseball and softball players. You'll coach athletes in a group and small-group setting, tailoring programming to the age, sport, and individual needs of each athlete. This is a hands-on role for someone who can build a positive, high-effort training culture and help young athletes get measurably stronger, faster, and more resilient.
Responsibilities

Design and run age- and sport-appropriate strength, speed, mobility, and conditioning programs

Lead group and small-group training sessions at the facility, coaching movement quality and safe technique

Work closely with high school baseball and softball athletes on performance and long-term development

Emphasize arm care, injury prevention, and rotational-sport demands specific to baseball and softball

Track athlete progress and adjust programming over time

Coordinate scheduling and training priorities with facility staff and instructors

Maintain a safe, organized, and motivating training environment

Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and staff
Qualifications

Experience coaching strength and conditioning, ideally with youth or high school athletes

Recognized certification preferred

Knowledge of baseball/softball movement, arm care, and injury prevention a strong plus

Ability to lead, motivate, and connect with athletes across age groups

Reliable, organized, and a strong communicator

Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain

Must clear required background screening/clearances for working with minors
Schedule & Compensation

Hours: Minimum 6 hours per week, with opportunity for more

Term: Year-round

Schedule: Late afternoon / evening sessions

Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, commensurate with experience
